The Shimano Ultegra PD-R8200 Road Pedals are an evolution of one of Shimano’s most beloved road pedal. Inspired by Shimano’s flagship Dura-Ace PD-R9300 pedals and representing the best of Shimano’s trickle-down approach, these pedals feature the refined SPD-SLR cleat/pedal system that delivers faster and more intuitive engagement, improved biomechanics, and more efficient power transfer than the SPD-SL style pedals this model replaces. While slightly heavier and less stiff than the body of the Dura-Ace pedals, a composite/resin construction still provides excellent durability and performance and the body has an incredibly low stack height that positions the riders foot closer to the spindle for better aerodynamics and ergonomics. Lightweight SPD-SLR cleats are included and have an updated shape that makes it easier to snap into the pedals when it is time to start moving, and once engaged the cleat meshes tightly with the stainless steel contact plates on the pedal surface for outstanding stability. Last but not least, the Shimano Ultegra PD-R8200 Road Pedals are available with two different spindle lengths ensuring the rider can achieve the fit they need for optimal performance from the start to the finish of the ride.

Note: SPD-SLR cleats Are Not compatible with SPD-SL pedals, but the SPD-SLR cleats are compatible/can be installed on road shoes with a 3-bolt cleat mounting pattern.
