Specialized S-Works Aethos 2 Frameset (Carbon/Fjord Metallic) (54cm) (Ready To Paint)

Specialized S-Works Aethos 2 Frameset Description:

The Specialized S-Works Aethos 2 Frameset represents decades of effort spent by Specialized’s internal research and design team refining the profile and design of winning bicycles like Tarmac SL8, Crux, and the legendary Venge, granting riders access to the lightest production road frameset on the market and phenomenal ride quality to match. Advanced computational data observed with real-time analysis of air flow and frame loads led Specialized engineers to program Aethos 2 with an optimized carbon layup that adds material in layering stiffness, eliminating traditional “stiff” layers of carbon, resulting in a lighter frame weight with better ride quality, improved integrity, and feasible performance gains. Further weight reduction to the BB shell, brake mounts, and the institution of SRAM’s UDH derailleur interface leave S-Works editions of Aethos 2 at a jaw-dropping 595g in the 56cm size. Aethos 2 boasts not only a lightweight and compliant ride but an accommodating fit that empowers all riders, regardless of bike size, with handling, stability, and comfort by way of an increased stack height. Aethos 2 strives to offer the “complete package” by furnishing room for tires up to 35mm in width, improving handling and comfort, and internal routing for a completely sleek look that appears as though it is moving when standing completely still.

Features:

• Lightest-in-class carbon fiber road bike with ultra-sleek aero-profile
• Flow State Design leaves Aethos 2 with tube shapes intended to channel optimized airflow
