Shimano Deore XT RD-M8200 Rear Derailleur Description:

The Shimano Deore XT RD-M8200 Rear Derailleur is the latest iteration of one of Shimano’s most iconic rear derailleurs. Featuring a wedged-shape profile and a Shadow ES stabilization system, this derailleur has a much lower profile than the previous Deore XT derailleurs which allows for more clearance around and over rocks, logs, and anything else on the trail. Should the inevitable happen, the derailleur will move with the impact to prevent damage and then an internal spring will pop the derailleur body back to the original position. Further adding to the damage prevention are solid 13-tooth pulleys that have additional shrouding that prevents anything from jamming up the pulleys and disrupting the riders flow. Finally, the Shimano Deore XT RD-M8200 Rear Derailleur is available with two different cage lengths so it is possible for a rider to optimize the bike’s shifting performance and get the right gear range for their particular needs.
